Historical characters needed for Bathgate Procession pageant

The organisers of Bathgate Procession are looking for young people to play characters for the 2012 historical pageant.

Preparations for the Procession and John Newland Festival, on Saturday, June 2, are underway – but the deadline for requesting a part is Thursday, January 19.

Organisers are looking for three girls presently in 1st year and four girls and three boys, presently in 3rd to 6th year.

Participants must be resident in Bathgate.

The three 1st year girls would take on the roles of Flower Queen, Rainbow Queen and Lady of the Court.

The four Senior Girls would play the parts of Princess Marjory and her three Ladies in Waiting, whilst the three senior boys would assume the roles of Walter, Lord High Stewart, Lord Lyon and the Earl of Moray.
