Bathgate nurse awarded Scotland's Midwife of the Year 2012
Congratulations to Diane McInally who won Midwife of the Year for Scotland at the Royal College of Midwives annual awards ceremony.
Bathgate-based Diane, who has delivered babies for nearly 30 years, scooped the national award after being nominated by a young mum, also from Bathgate.
Louise Morris, 28, described Diane as her 'rock' during her pregnancy with son Grayson, now eight months.
Louise said: "She made my pregnancy possible and had me strong, confident and ready to be a wonderful mother."
Diane was presented with the Johnson's sponsored award by newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky at the ceremony in London.
